Overcome Self Sabotage
Self-sabotage is not your fault. It is a natural part of our thought process and has been since the beginning of time. The only way to overcome it is to learn how to master it.
Most people who suffer the ongoing negative consequences of self-sabotage need to break free from this cycle.
Here are some things to consider:
Let go of your preconceived notions about what it takes to get you where you want to go in life. Our ego always wants to get in the way and sabotage our efforts. Don’t trust anything that goes on in a frenzied mind.
Thinking the right way is not a process, it’s a decision. When you resist this notion, simply ask yourself, “What is it I need to decide?”
For now, The answer is, “Love yourself and forgive others.” Create a sign and put it somewhere you can see it on a regular basis as a reminder. Say to yourself 100 times a day, “I love myself.” If you resist that thought, then say, “ I want to believe I love myself.”
This repetition will eventually replace the subconscious programming you have that is sabotaging your efforts.
“Shut up and listen.” When you do, your inner guidance will deliver direction that is far more rewarding than what you can imagine for yourself.
Take at least 20 minutes each morning to “center yourself.” Shut out the chatter of your brain and still your mind; from this place, you’ll find inspiration and peace.
Successful living demands you learn to control your thoughts and habits. Napoleon Hill teaches us to access a universal power that, when operated properly, delivers us a life that exceeds our expectations.
Your weaknesses are not your own. They are shared by all humanity. It’s human nature to be self-destructive. When you replace a bad habit with a good one, you are not doing it for just yourself. Your unseen connection with others helps bring them closer to making that same change for themselves.
Confront your “preoccupations” and then develop the habits that eliminate them. This makes way for accessing your own remarkable power.
